Another Chance to be Strict. Blown. While not drinking to intoxication, I’ve been ending every day with at least one scotch, or a Compari and soda. I have not been too heavy into the junk food. In fact, it’s only the Starbucks raisin scones that have been a program violation.
Weigh in Friday.
I weigh in at 98.6 down from 98.8
Ruth weighs in at 65.5 up from 65.0
I seem to be holding fairly steady, despite the drinking every single night. Ruth seems to be edging upward, but not drastically.

Exercised yesterday. Then laid on a full cheater day, culminating with an all you can eat and drink drenched in melted butter dinner at Tepanyaki restaurant. Wooo hooo.
Today feel toxic. Will get on the machine as soon as Ruth is off it.

Weighed in this morning at 98.8kg, down from 99.1
Ruth weighed in at 65.0 up from 64.9
These weights don’t mean much, other than that we’re not gaining or losing at a great rate. I’m certainly not losing. But I’m still not on the program, for reasons I can’t explain. The shot of scotch before bed is probably mostly to blame, but there are also a number of raisin scones during the week and a general not giving a damn about the diet, which I prefer to call the program rather than the diet. Sigh.

Began the day with a magnum ice cream bar.
Did my exercise on the elliptical trainer for 31 minutes. More because I paused the timer at one point and forgot to turn it on again. Dripped sweat. Cooled off. Showered. Feeling good now.
Two peanut butter and banana sandwiches for breakfast.

This is the first time I’ve posted since Weigh in Friday of week 2. When I weighed in at 100ks.
Since then, we had weigh in Friday last week when I weighed in at 98.2kg
And today I weighed in at 99.1kg
So I am saw toothing around the 100kg mark.
Ruth’s numbers go like this: 65.9, 64.4, 64.9
I’m not happy about getting the spare tire back. And I can’t figure out why staying on the program is so damn difficult now. I seem to have last all inspiration and discipline. Drinking scotch every night. Snacking on forbidden junk food like yesterday at the meeting when I was eating… candies? Really. Eating candies? That is so bad.
What is going on? I’ll get back to you on that.

Nice round number. 100kg today
Up from 98kg last week. Another nice round number.
Ruth weighed in at 65.9kg up from 64.7kg
We’re obviously not doing this right. Ironic that I’m just starting a course on the science behind free will.
